Mars its turning retrograde July, 26^th. Every two years this power house planet of ambition takes a time-out for about two months. That means it has a very long stay in the sign of Aquarius.  It pushes you to claim your authenticity and fill in well carved grooves of habit with fresh ideas. June 26^th – August 27^th you’ll be asked how to make this dynamic turnaround help you plan the next two years forward. Momentum has slowly come to a screeching halt on some projects. Rescheduling is just the start.

Retrogrades are more psychological, and Bill Tierney states the following in Dynamics of Aspect Analysis, “this transit urges for constructive alteration of an energy pattern, that could otherwise become self-depleting and non-productive.” His advice for all retrogrades is retracing our steps and reclaiming something of value. This retrograde takes on (Pluto) transformative energy. We’re more likely to rebuild from scratch or move… than just move the furniture.

The South Node is part of the Mars review. Meetings can feel familiar and fated. The shadow side of Mars retrograde is reacting versus responding. Let’s consider road rage as an example. That’s reacting! If being first means getting in an accident, let’s settle for going with the flow of traffic instead. Especially between July 5^th – July 9^th.

Ambition turned inward can easily stretch overtime into a constant at work. Burnout is balanced by getting outdoors or playing a sport. The key is to get your heart pumping. Both are perfect remedies to burn stress.

This month’s Full Moon, June 27^th, lands on the Sabian Symbol 7-Capricorn, “A veiled prophet speaks, seized by the power of a God”.  The words and insights shared by others can help us plan for the future.
