The August 11^th Solar Eclipse carries the energy of “separations or the ending of a union – the results are quite positive.” Bernadette Brady states once again, how a seemingly depressing event can set us off on a new course. ­­­If the eclipse doesn’t connect to a point in your chart, it may only manifest for someone you know. That someone, may need your compassion and support to find their way through. It takes a village for both children and adults to weather big change. What if we know a change is needed and do nothing? We might get taken out of the situation by default. I call it a “Spiritual Boot”. Rebuilding creates new connections and propels us forward like a sail full of wind. Although 90% of eclipses are felt one month one either side of the date, they can be experienced up to six months later.

Connecting with others will be easier once Mercury goes direct on the 18^th. Business promotions may fall flat before that date. Currently, we have one more week to revise, review and brainstorm creative solutions. You simply don’t have all the information to launch, and doing so is premature. The Sun moving into Virgo on the 22^nd will hone your perceptions like a sharp knife. And, flashes of insight illuminate your path one step at a time.

This cycle of Mars retrograde is helping us define our goals for the next two years forward. Pushing yourself to complete ideas or going back to square one is all part of this internalized ambition. Have you been burning the candle at both ends? Staying up late…and unable to sleep? Adjustments and delays won’t clear our path until after the 27^th.

The last dynamic playing into these next few weeks of August is the Saturn retrograde. We’re reviewing what no longer commands our time and effort. Often, we have to let go of one journey to explore another pat. We simply can’t ride two horses at the same time. Choose…and vow to accomplish what you set out to do. Our social connections take on a feeling of support and partnership. Reach out, get uncomfortable with risk. Using this time to eliminate ideas that don’t stand up to the test can build a strong foundation. Then, a breakthrough is possible. Besides the feeling of aliveness, you can count on not being bored.
