The New Moon on Aug 30th lands on the Sabian Symbol 7-Virgo, “A Harem” This symbol ushers in familiar routines. We’re integrating new work and school schedules. Uranus, the awakener, reminds us to be authentic and receptive to inventive insights. New Moons are about new starts. Write your goals and look at least three years forward. The stellium of planets in Virgo creates an internal pressure to do our best. It’s known for getting things right… down to the last gritty detail. The archetype of the Crafts-person is hard core. Anything that falls short of your best breads a self-defeating feeling. Now, link all that to Saturn and you’re pretty much bullet proof. With Saturn egging us on, we can be exhausted or depressed. How is that really a choice? You have what it takes, whatever your goal. Just know the effort builds another layer of experience in your journey.
Our individual strengths are called forward now that, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is direct. As the stellium of personal planets oppose Pluto we enter an atmosphere of transformation. It’s not possible to be subtle with this energy. It’s intense. Releasing outdated beliefs and methods of speech (still cussing?) are par for the course. Resisting change creates what Carolyn Myss calls anchors. They keep us stuck. (like not being willing to forgive) Hey, I never said it was easy to do this transformational stuff. Just rewarding. Focusing on what you create demands you have your energy in present time, not the past. As Saturn goes direct on the 19th we’ve got back-up to move forward on the restructuring that began in May. To quote C. Myss, “you need a backbone, not a wishbone”. I’ll see you again at the Full Moon –
