On July 2^nd there’s a Solar Eclipse at 12:42 pm PT. We’re in for a busy summer full of twists and turns. The Solar Eclipse falls on the New Moon in Cancer. Wow, that’s a mouthful. Eclipses signify turning points and major events. They can completely change the trajectory of our life. The Solar Eclipse creates a “new chapter”. Two weeks later, at the Full Moon, a Lunar Eclipse can simply wipe out the past. How do you know if you’ll experience either? Well, planets in your chart at  11-Cancer or 24-Capricorn are the key. Anything within 3-degrees of those degrees by conjunction, opposition or square will trigger the effects. Sorry if your head is spinning. I wish there was a straight forward date we could point to, but that’s not how we evolve and grow.  We’re faced with crossing a bridge, and it ceremoniously collapses when we reach the other side. We must grow into the new experience. We’ll feel the eclipses 6 weeks before and after July 2^nd.

July 7^th – 8^th Informative Mercury goes retrograde. Rushing is not in our best interest. The retrograde is our chance to get caught up. Keeping a lighter schedule will help navigate whatever needs our immediate attention. Action oriented Mars connects with perceptive Mercury, and nudges us toward a creative passion. July 9^th  – 11^th New connections and dreams take center stage. Insights require us to take action instead of sleeping through them. Family is highlighted. How are we taking care of ourselves? What would make you whole? What would fracture you? We need more physical activity and an outlet for insights and inventiveness.

July 14^th  – 16^th Synchronistic Mercury delivers information to move us forward at breakneck speed. What usually takes 3 years can be accomplished in 6 months. It’s like an episode of Star Wars where we are moved expeditiously through time. On the 16^th the Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse sweeps through 25-Capricorn and can wipe out the past. The Full Moon usually exposes situations and allows us to reflect on what we can safely leave behind. Your compassion and sense of fair play are highlighted.

We’re learning to trust our heart and what feels right. If possible… hold off on signing agreements until after the mid-point of the Mercury retrograde (July 21^st). Better yet, until Mercury goes direct on August 1^st. Every six months we have another eclipse. Thank God we don’t experience each and every one.
